Portland is home to seven Yamaha PRO WC reserved for the event. This livery police patrol craft in the specification, including improved communications, navigation lights, integrated Garmin plotter, depth sounder and light blue - all prepared in-house by a team of marine specialists Yamaha. WC PRO delivered as part of a turnkey package that includes advanced training for a team of 20 officers.


With seven Yamaha PRO WC stationed in Portland for the summer and need Dorset Police to operate multiple shifts seven days a week, for two months, there are a large number of crews to train thus ensuring consistency of approach is key.
